Finding a Lawyer
When you have a family law problem it is important to consult a lawyer. Only a lawyer can give you expert legal advice and service. You can see as many lawyers as you like before you hire one. You should choose a lawyer that you are comfortable with.
To find a lawyer, you can search the Law Society of New Brunswick’s online directory. This directory allows you to search for lawyers by region, by area of law, language, and firm name. You can also call the Law Society at (506) 458-8540.
You can also search for lawyers the internet.
Sometimes it is helpful to ask your friends or acquaintances who have had similar family law issues if they can recommend you any lawyers.
