Family Law Publications
Public Legal Education and Information Service of New Brunswick (PLEIS-NB) has been publishing resources about the law for the public and making them available on our website (www.legal-info-legale.nb.ca) for nearly 20 years. Because of the scope of the publications and resources about family law matters, we decided to create a separate website called Family Law NB. This website consolidates all of our family law publications and resources as well as offering a range of new resources including videos and annotated family law forms.
You can read most of the publications on-line or download as pdf files on either site. You can also email a publication to yourself or a friend. Click here to learn how to order a copy of one or more publications.
Disclaimer: Please note that our publications and website contains general information about the law. This is not a complete statement of the law on particular topics. We try to update our publications often, but laws change frequently so it is important for you to check to make sure the information is up to date. The information in our publications is not a substitute for legal advice. To receive legal advice about your specific situation, you need to speak to a lawyer.
